Following a successful project at the Shakespeare Northern Theatre, the same client invited William Lea Ltd to price for the screeding on the new-build development.

It comprised approximately 10,000m² of screed, to three floors, including an exposed roof – which was later overlaid with a hot-melt roofing membrane and paving materials.

Retanol Xtreme Screed was mixed on site, pumped and laid throughout the building.

Due to the rapid strength gain of Retanol Xtreme, there was no damage to the screed by follow-on trades, which is always of huge benefit to the client.
